Thermaly induced deflection of bimaterial cantilever coated by various materials.
We figure out the thermally induced deflection of a bimaterial cantilever coated by a metallic layer. Various materials for the coating are assumed to examined the cantilever defelction. A Gaussian beam shape for the laser light irradiated on the cantilever surface is used. The thermal distribution is numerically computed. The results could give important information on the response of cantilever versus various ambient conditions.
